Fission Fishin' Mission

Wishin' to be fishin'

life without a mission

know nothing about nuclear fission

gotta make a decision

what's this life for?

If you're comfortable while you're here,

that's all right, if you're not

then you just got to fight to

turn around your head and get it right.

You know I don't have any idea,

Time, it doesn't even get to see ya,

you're here and you're gone,

you move it along and you die!

But what's right? it's so confusing

why won't the spark of thought ignite

and give me the meaning of life

in a nutshell

to my delight...

You build, you love, you cry,

you really can't do more than try,

hit the right vein and you fly,

step in front of a train and good-bye!

Wisihin' to be fishin'

life without a mission

know nothing about nuclear fission

gotta make a decision

what's this life for?

Ideas

Ladies take warning,

don't call a lonely man,

he might spoil your plans,

so don't intrude!

He understands,

but has ideas...

and might want you,

in his hands...

Ladies take my warning,

if you call a lonely man,

be ready to be included,

in his plans.

His head will freak out,

he'll want to speak out,

if he likes you,

he will take a stand...

He could be frightened,

don't let him slip through,

times sands,

if you call a lonely man.

Dreams

I go to college but I've got no schemes,

white collar mind hype made me lose my dreams,

Sometimes I wonder what I really need,

isn't the money supposed to be just greed?

I've got no lover but I feel just fine,

I know one's waiting somwhere down the line,

I like my women kinda wild and free

don't want them thinking about no-one but me,

I don't need no cocaine to set me free,

music's the best high I ever did,

So take you mind hype, your books, your schemes,

and give me back my dreams.

The Pieces

I want to be around to pick up the pieces,
and warm your cold, cold heart,
if you'll just say you love me dear,
for the time that we're apart.

I hope someday we see,
the way we are when we're apart,
and waken to our land of love,
it's been there from the start.

More time was needed than we had,
but I was so damn smart,
I tried to rush our love,
and ruined it... the best part.

You never really had a chance
to find out who you are,
and I had never stopped to think,
now we've got broken hearts.

I really believe I know now
what it means to fall in love,
you were the first woman
to really touch my heart.

Another day in the life of Ray

Another day in the life of Ray
and what can I say..?
Another day
in the life I say...

I am what...
I think I am...
I am, I am me,
and I say...

How are you?
Are you ok?
OK is where,
where you are...

What do YOU say?
it's another day,
day is over here,
here is where I am...

Another day in the life of Ray
and what can I say..?
Another day
in the life I say,

it's another day,
day in time
time moving on
on another day...

what can I do,
today I can...
how about you?
you know?...

Another day in the life of Ray
and what can I say..?
Another day
in the life I say,

it's a day
is that the way
way it goes?
who knows...

who knows
when, why, or what
it is
about you...

how about you?
you know how...
I feel you...
feel for me..?

Another day in the life of Ray
and I see..
Another day, of life,
I see...
see you...

and I'll wait
I await another day
in my life...
the life of Ray...

I'm a Fool

I'm a fool for you,
no matter what you do.

I love you and know you
know you too.

I'm a fool for you,
no matter what you do.

I love you and need you
need you too.

I'm a fool for you,
no matter what you do.

I love to know you
I'll show you too.

I love you no matter
what you do.

So if you leave me
I'll love you still.

I'm a fool for you,
no matter what you do.

Honey please believe me
it's you, it's you...

I love you no matter
what you do.

I'm a fool for you
Yeah, just a fool.

Chris Ray

Chris Ray with poetry for today, yesterday, and tomorrow,

or should I borrow and say

for all time

these words in rhyme

shall stand in memory of it all

even 'though I fall.

I Hear You Know

I hear you Know,

yet you don't show,

you still don't know,

'cause you don't show,

you never show

'cause you never know,

what I'm thinking...

while you're slinking

around you know,

you've found me,

you never show,

you've found me,

you're around me,

you never know,

you've found me.

'cause you don't show,

what I'm thinking,

you never know,

what I'm thinking is...

you've found me.

I hear you know...

yet you don't show,

you still don't know,

'cause you don't show,

you never show,

'cause you never show,

what I'm thinking.

I hear you now...
